By downloading, installing, or using Steno ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Steno is an iOS application that provides on-device voice recording, transcription, and AI-powered analysis. All processing occurs locally on your device.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Pricing, billing, and cancellation are subject to Apple's terms.
You retain all rights to your voice recordings, transcriptions, and any content generated by the App. Steno does not claim ownership of your content. Your content remains on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Steno uses machine learning models for transcription and analysis. Results may not be 100% accurate. You should review all transcriptions, action items, calendar events, and reminders before acting on them. Steno is not responsible for errors in AI-generated content.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users.
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
